Step 1

Take the growkit from Golden Teacher in the new version (white contents of the box) out of the carton, but do not throw it away. Remove the cover from the kit. Wash the lid with running tap water and store it well. It is best to put it away in a large plastic bag closed with a zip lock.

Step 2

Place the grow bag (the one that comes with the box and clips in the carton) on a flat surface then slide the grow kit into the bag. Fold the grow bag under the bottom of the grow kit. Make sure the microperforations are facing up at this time. Put the folded grow bag (with the grow kit on the side) back into the cardboard box. The cardboard will block incoming sunlight from the sides.

Step 3

Place the grow kit in an area with sufficient daylight, but never in direct sunlight. The windowsill falls off ;). Also make sure the temperature is between 20 and 26 degrees. The ideal temperature for a perfect harvest is 23 degrees.

Step 4

When you see the first small pins, you can set the bag vertically. And close it with paperclips. As it looked in the “old” method. However, do not add water.

Step 5

As soon as you notice that the first caps are growing, slightly open the bag for a few minutes so that excessive moisture can evaporate.

Step 6

When the mushrooms grow up, you can pick them. Try to do it before the first spores begin to fall – that is, until they are not fully open. Remember, always wash your hands before collecting, and use disinfectant liquid.

Step 7

After the first harvest, fill the grow kit with clean tap water and preferably distilled water. Put the lid back on the container (I hope it is kept as mentioned in the first step). Leave the box for 12 hours. After this time, open the corner of the lid and gently pour over the excess water. Now go back to step 2 and prepare for the next harvest. This process can be repeated many times.

What is quite important – the cultivation kit is 100% ready to use. You don’t need to add water to the growing kit at all. You don’t need to pre-soak or spray during the growing process. Always work in as clean conditions as possible and wash your hands before touching the grow kit.

Psilocybe cubensis is a species of psychedelic mushroom that contains the active compounds psilocybin and psilocin. There are about 60 varieties in the world. The etymology of the name is as follows:“psilos” means to rub or shave, while “cybe” comes from the word “kybe” and means exactly “head,” “cubensis” – the place where the species was collected, which was in Cuba in 1904. In summary, “psilocybe cubensis” means “shaved head from Cuba.” The common name for these is magic mushrooms, or hallucinogenic mushrooms. Psilocybe cubensis belong to the Hymenogastraceae family, and are also called “golden halos” because of their almost unmistakable protuberances or flat, yellow-brown hats. They can bedistinguished from its derived counterparts by their proportionally large stem size and expanded hats. They naturally germinate in cattle feces, while in organized cultures they germinate on substrates like coffee or brown rice flour.
