Golden Teacher Growkit Storage

We store our growkits in refrigerated conditions between 2–5°C. The manufacturer guarantees freshness for up to 6 months if this temperature is maintained. Upon receiving your shipment, place it in the refrigerator immediately. You have 72 hours to conduct research — otherwise, you may risk legal consequences.

Is Golden Teacher Easy to Grow?

Yes — this variety, like other Psilocybe cubensis, is known to be beginner-friendly. It is relatively easy to cultivate, with the full process (from spores to fruiting) taking around 4–6 weeks.

About Psilocybe Cubensis

Psilocybe cubensis is a psychedelic mushroom species that contains psilocybin and psilocin. There are around 60 known varieties. The name comes from Greek and Latin: “psilos” means smooth/shaved, “cybe” means head, and “cubensis” indicates its origin — Cuba, where it was first collected in 1904. The name loosely translates to “shaved head from Cuba.”

They naturally grow in cattle pastures and thrive in controlled environments on substrates like coffee or brown rice flour. A hallmark feature is the blue-green bruising on the stems, caused by oxidation of psilocybin precursors. On average, they contain 10–12 mg of psilocybin per gram of dried mushrooms.
