Description
Chickenfoot Graphics
The intriguing artwork titled "Chickenfoot" is a surreal and symbolic piece created by visual artist Przemysław Lubczak. A dreamlike combination of Slavic folklore, mystical elements, and psychedelic symbolism draws the viewer into a layered story full of meaning and mystery.
Baba Yaga, the myth, and modern vision
The chicken foot (or crow's foot) is a mysterious symbol found across cultures. In Slavic mythology, it is famously associated with the hut of Baba Yaga – the archetypal witch. However, the woman enclosed in the glass orb here is not a terrifying crone. She appears gentle, almost divine – like a priestess of the forest.
Mushrooms instead of thoughts
Inside her transparent head, instead of a brain, we see a cluster of psilocybin mushrooms. This subtle yet powerful image evokes the idea of altered states of consciousness, deep intuition, and insight rooted in nature. The eyes, pointing in different directions, may suggest multidimensional perception or inner awakening.
Artistic style and materials
The piece was created using a mixed technique, combining drawing and painting with the artist's unique methods. The final graphic was printed on canvas, framed with a golden wooden frame, and complemented by a graphite passe-partout that enhances the contrast and mystery.
Frame size: 35 x 28 cm
Print size: 23 x 30 cm
Passe-partout: dark gray
