Growkits with mycelium of psilocybin mushrooms allow for the study of such varieties as Golden Teacher, Mazatapec, McKennaii and many others.
Grow kit or growkit (also often called Grow Box) is a set for growing psilocybin mushrooms or other plants enclosed in a box. Inside there is a fruiting block that has not yet been introduced to the conditions necessary for the growth of fruit bodies, in the case of mushrooms it is simply the mycelium. Before starting cultivation, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the legal status of growing this type of mushroom in the country you are in. In Poland, a growkit is legal (because it does not contain prohibited substances), but growing and possessing mushrooms is not.
Shipments containing a growkit are made from Monday to Thursday. Shipments abroad are made on Mondays, due to maintaining maximum product freshness.
What is a growkit?
A growkit is a set for growing mushrooms or other plants enclosed in a box. Inside there is a set of components that allow you to grow your own plant or, in the case of mushrooms, it is a fruiting block that has not yet been introduced to the conditions necessary for the growth of fruit bodies. Each growkit in our store contains material with ready-made mycelium of psilocybin mushrooms of a given psilocybe cubensis variety.
The growkit product contains:
- mycelium of a selected psilocybe cubensis strain,
- bag with air filters,
- paper clips,
- cardboard.
Growkit Golden Teacher
Growkit Golden Teacher is the most popular and one of the most frequently chosen mycelium on the market. It is characterized by an impressive cap size and solid, thick stems. Golden Teacher is a real bestseller in our store and we offer it in various capacities to adapt to the needs of our customers. You can choose from mycelium placed in boxes with a capacity of 250 and 1200 ml.
Growkit – expiriation date
The interest of researchers is focused on mushrooms with psychoactive properties, which arouse fascination with their unique nature. However, there is one aspect that is worth considering – the expiration date of growkits. It is important to remember that these products have a specific shelf life. If you store them in the refrigerator, you can count on maintaining their quality for about 6 months, provided that the temperature is maintained in the range of 2-4 degrees Celsius. When buying a growkit in our store, you can be sure that the expiration date is long, because weekly deliveries ensure product rotation. However, it is worth considering that mycelium studies should ideally begin immediately after receiving the growkit box.

Is a Grow Kit Legal in Poland?
Mycelium blocks (i.e., psilocybe grow kits) in Poland are legal products and can be researched as long as fruiting bodies do not develop. However, mushrooms that have already grown contain a substance called psilocybin, which is considered illegal in Poland. Similar laws apply in most EU countries, though some have chosen not to prosecute for possession. Possession of small amounts of mushrooms is not penalized. In our grow kit guide, you will find information on what to avoid doing to prevent growth, as cultivating psilocybin mushrooms is illegal in Poland. However, products containing a mycelium substrate can be legally sold and purchased.
Easing Restrictions on Growing Magic Mushrooms
There has been much discussion recently about easing restrictions on the use of psilocybin mushrooms, especially in the United States. In some cities, the law allows the use of psychoactive substances, but only in specific cases and for medical purposes. We deeply hope that legal provisions regarding psilocybin mushrooms in Poland will also become more lenient soon. Before embarking on a psychedelic journey, be sure to thoroughly check the legal status in the respective country.
